First Cover

Like I said in my previous post, I might post my covers here.

And.... here goes the first one (since I still don't know what to blog about)

I remember doing this cover, about a week before my father had stroke, and uhhh... he, unfortunately, died out of that.

so.. when everything was over, from the wake to the burial, I was in my room with my mom. Then I thought of this song, I told her, "You know Ma, a week before Pop's stroke, i actually sang a sad song. It is about "goodbye stuff" and it actually had a movie where the singer was sick and she died."

Then, I let her hear my cover. It was in Japanese, so i don't know if she felt it, since she couldn't understand Japanese. She saw me cry, but i also saw her already tearing up.

"Why are you crying?" she asked me.
 "I miss him Ma."

so yeah, this song is very special to me.

this song is originally sang by YUI from the movie Midnight Sun. It is one of my favorite Japanese movies, and I really love YUI's voice so here...

I hope you like it!

Been a while…

CHANCE

Chance.
Do I deserve it or not?
Is it too late or me?
Am I too old for it?
Chance.
Should I wait for it?
Or Is it right to take it?
Will I regret it?
Chance.
Should I move on?
Should I just forget about it?
Will I ever have it?
Chance.
I guess I could not tell when it will come.
Or is that chance a mistake for me,
That’s why I keep missing it.
Chance.
I wouldn’t know if I don’t take it.
I wouldn’t know if I let it slip away again.
Take me away.

The Very First Post For 2011

“Buena Mano” as everyone says, every time things start.

2010 for me was a realization year for me. I realized what I really wanted to do this whole time of asking myself what will I be in the future. Finally, I figured it out, but I don’t want to share it yet. I’ll keep it as a secret to myself.

Well, I thank the Lord for giving me 2010. For hitting me on the head, so I could wake myself up, and realize that thing. Then, here comes 2011. This is where I plan to start everything.

I really hope that it will happen… *crossfingers* I’ll certainly do it!

Long Walk

Last December 19, we went to this place Rizal, Bgy. Malutok, where native children graduated from non-formal literacy school by the Marist Brothers. My mom said she wanted to see what it’s like, so she said she wanted to go. I was interested too, so we both went.
It was not an easy walk because it was muddy, and the heat was just scorching. We walked about 3km to get there.

When we arrived, they were already distributing the diplomas, and I can really see in their faces that they were really happy.
The Marist Brothers are the missionaries that sacrificed their life to teach these kids, and now there are only three of them. They also got the support of some villagers. They said that other students had to walk about 5 hours just to get there.
Later in the program, they had an intermission number. A musical performance. a native one. They grabbed the ethnic musical instruments that were decorated on the stage. They spoke native language, that I couldn’t even understand them. They played instrumental songs. It was beautiful, and amazing. I can really feel the ethnicity of the their music. It was real, and pure. It was an honor hearing the real one. Real native people playing their music.

After that, we rested a bit, and was invited to take lunch, that they prepared. We were hungry from the walk so we didn’t hesitate.

Eagles that the natives took care. I think the first one is a Philippine Bald Eagle, and the other is a baby Philippine Eagle.

We went home. Walking 3km again, but this time I took a lot of pictures.

Road Trip

Last December 14, I arrived to Palawan. I met my mom, then she said we’re immediately going to Rizal. Rizal is like 6 hours of travel from the city, and the road is so rough, and not to mention the heat, so I really hated traveling here (I’m here in Rizal now.)
Image001 (2)Image002Image000 (2)
Yes, I know the pictures above are contrary to what I said about the rough road, but this road is just the beginning, not even 1/4 of the trip, and I forgot to take a picture of it. >,<
So, the trip began. first, it was smooth, then it was rough. We had a stop over, ate lunch, and off to the road again. Then, the most memorable part started.
The rough road became soft, and I meant soft. It was because this past few days it has been continuously raining. So the road was soft, and I guess you know what happened next. Yes, we got stuck at one point. We got stuck in an uphill road, and we were in the midst of nowhere. No one was there. I had to get out from our van to put a wood behind the tires, so the van won’t slide down. I stepped on mud that at one point my slippers got stuck from the sticky mud. My mom told me to look for someone who could help us, and luckily a pick-up car came, and was about to pass by us. We hailed him, and asked for his help. He helped us, and asked for a rope so he could pull us from where we were. I got the rope and gave it to his helper. His car pulled us, but not long the rope snapped. Then he recommended that maybe it’s better to use their rope(I forgot how it’s called, but I guess I’ll just use rope.) then, pulled our van using their rope, their pick-up, and it was successful.
While I… I was left standing on the sticky mud. our van stopped, and waited for me. So I walked along the mud, and guess what, both my legs got stuck. I tried to lift  it, but my slippers won’t come out, so I pulled my leg without my slippers, then I dug down my arms to get my slippers. Mud was all over me, it was so embarrassing, but I just laughed at myself.
That sure was memorable. That was the first time my leg was filled with mud like I was farming. The adventure dud not end there though. It was already dark, but we’re still far from our destination. We had to stop from nowhere again, because we don’t want out van to overheat. After some 20 minutes, we drove again. Thankfully, we arrived home safely.
That’s where our adventure ended.

Black Rose in my hand..

Woah!!!

Well, i just want to share this. Cool, right? >,<

How to make a Black rose...

Pretty easy. all you need is a rose, and days.
haha.

Yeah, that's all you need. You just have to wait for the rose to dry, leave it in some days, until it dries, then that's it... a Black rose!!!

>,<

P.S.(i just found this rose somewhere around the house, i'm guessing it's my brother's....>,<)
